The Archimedes palimpsest

Every thing old is eventually new again.

In the late 1990s, a lost Archimedes manuscript was recovered from a medieval Christian prayer book. It's now being deciphered at Stanford by Israeli scholar Reviel Netz. He has coauthored a book on the discovery.
